The Seattle Seahawks certainly shocked the NFL world last season. Instead of being a team competing for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 draft, they won nine games and made the playoffs.
The main reason the Seahawks returned to the postseason was the surprising career resurgence of quarterback Geno Smith. Smith led a highly competent offense, and Seattle’s ability to move the ball was one of the team’s strengths. While the Seahawks’ offense was much better than expected, improvement is needed.

Wide receivers DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett are one of the best receiving duos in the NFL, but they could use a little help. Seattle should look for a legitimate third receiver behind those two to help the offense if they’re covered or injured.
Overall, not the best kind of free agency for receivers. But the Seahawks would only need a competent No. 3 behind Lockett and Metcalf.

Certainly one of the most compelling options out there, especially from a fan perspective, and one the Seahawks have flirted with in the past.
Odell Beckham Jr. has become an NFL official. From New York to Cleveland to Los Angeles, where he became an integral cog in a championship run. Beckham missed the entire 2022 season due to an injury he sustained in Super Bowl LVI.
It may not be what it once was, but it has shown that it can certainly be a viable option in an airstrike when the focus shifts elsewhere.

If Odell Beckham Jr. isn’t an option, then maybe his former college teammate and Cleveland teammate is. Jarvis Landry may not have the star power of Beckham, but he has generally been a consistent choice for football shooters.
Landry may not have had the most dynamic season last year, but more could be attributed to the overall ineptitude of New Orleans’ offense. Quarterback Andy Dalton is a good bridge, but he barely makes a difference at the most important position in the game.

If it is not broke, do not fix it. Marquise Goodwin serves as a possible inside option for the Seattle Seahawks to re-sign for the 2023 season. It’s clear that he and quarterback Geno Smith developed a quality relationship, as evidenced by this remarkable touchdown run in Munich last year.
Unfortunately, broke is a keyword here. Goodwin was placed on injured reserve in December, missing the key stretch of the playoffs. Plus, he didn’t have much of an impact early in the season. Perhaps another year in Shane Waldron’s system, though, could remedy those concerns.

After spending the first four years of his career in Duval County with the Jacksonville Jaguars, DJ Chark played in Motor City for the 2022 season. Like the Detroit Lions, Chark started the year pretty slow.
It wasn’t until the second half that Chark began to make an impact on the Lions’ offense, which quickly became one of the most explosive in the NFL.
Chark may have finished the year with just three touchdowns, but the Lions and Jaguars didn’t have receivers like DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett to divert attention from him.

Jamison Crowder spent his first four seasons playing in Washington, then the last four playing for a New York football team. Last year’s season in Buffalo was not one of the most memorable seasons of his career.
Crowder only caught 60-yard passes before an ankle injury in Week 4 caused him to miss the rest of 2022. Crowder, however, isn’t far off from an 833-yard season with the New York Jets in 2019. Maybe a change of scenery to the West Coast will help him regain his NFL footing.

Perhaps the least likely option of the six is ​​future Hall of Famer Julio Jones. Since he left the Falcons, Jones hasn’t made much of an impact for either the Tennessee Titans or the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
However, one of the two touchdowns he did score in 2022 came against the Seahawks in Germany.
Jones is likely done with his NFL career, but the Seahawks have an unusual history of being the last stop for Canton-bound receivers. Maybe they kick the tires on Jones and add another to their clique.
